Oh wow! That interview is more candid than you usually see in Hollywood. And I think most fans totally agree with him.

I was the complete opposite. When Carol was saying goodbye to Henry & telling him that he’d already made her proud, I said to my dog, “Ohhhh he’s dead.”
As much as I hate kids in general on this show, the idea of kids raised completely in the zombie apocalypse who have no/few memories of a world outside of Hilltop could be interesting. They’re not worried about typical teenage things, like college, yet they are still driven by normal stuff like girls, finding a…
This is why the Glenn dumpster fire & the Rick fake out are so damaging to the show. And the awful Negan cliffhanger kill scene.
If Jesus is legit dead, I might have been upset. But I never fully trust that anyone is dead until we see them being buried, so that means I assume he’s probably not really dead until the…
Yes! That particular wall was perfectly designed for poking, with sturdy cast iron bars that would have given all of them an easy foothold to get to the top of the stone part, gently toss Eugene over & then stand on the outside poking away, through the bars.
I really hope they don’t kill Dog. This show is horrible to animals.
I appreciated the conversation about preserving art & culture, considering it necessary for survival. The most depressing part of “The Quiet Place” was thinking about living in a post-apocalyptic world where we could never play music again.
Agreed. I mostly watch on a very large TV & had to pause multiple times last season to try to decrypt what was happening. Still no idea who was shot in the back of Maggie’s car by the Saviors. Was never able to make out the giant horde of zombies characters referenced - in the middle of bright daylight, no less.
The timeline is ridiculous. It makes the flip-flopping moralizing about killing even more unbelievable when you realize it hasn’t been months in between such major story arcs, only days.
Yes! I quit after the one-two punch of Glenn’s magical dumpster & the cliffhanger Lucille episode. After hearing a main character was leaving the show soon, I binged season 8 on Netflix, mostly hate-watching & yelling “COME ON!” at my TV.
So happy to see the way season 9 has begun. The real work of rebuilding society,…
“Also Rick’s crew, although not perfect, usually kill people in defense of themselves or others.”
Attacking the Savior’s satellite station & executing dozens (more?) people in their sleep was pretty cold. I think baby Judith is the only person on this show who hasn’t straight up murdered somebody.
Regardless of my…
I think the bigger concern is that if you cut the Saviors loose, they’ll start attacking the other settlements again since they don’t have food. The only conceivable way to integrate them into the New World Order is to mix the groups up, settling some Saviors into the other settlements so there’s less Us vs. Them…
“...if that was matched by the same detail in the OPA, UNN, MCRN you would have a sci fi version of the Wire”
“...he’s shocked that these dumb fucks, after going on TALK SHOWS about this money, thought they could then just spend it on themselves without ANYONE taking notice.”
I wish they had spent more time in the real world. Do these people work or go to school? How do they pay for food or electricity or internet?
Haven’t read the book, but I was disappointed all of the characters were thin, attractive & in the same age bracket. Plus they all happen to live in the same city which also happens to be where the Evil Super Corp is headquartered? This future seems incredibly tiny.
