Pre-global Escape or late model Ranger, with the V6, and the factory towing package for proper trailer towing?

What's Ford's logic then when the Edge Titanium gets a separate amber turn signal for the rear (LED too!) but the SE/SEL trim levels get stuck with the brake light doing double duty? That amber turn signal is not 2200 sq mm
