All those people in the post last night saying that this was making Brazil look bad were something else. Yeah, there are certainly issues with police in Brazil, but they’re smart enough to know that you don’t go after famous Americans unless you’re 99 percent sure you’ve got a case.

that was definitely a big issue, when I went back and replayed all 3 games and actually paid attention to the mythology and finer lore points of the XIII trilogy i realized “holy shit, there’s some good stuff here, shame it didn’t shine through.”

It’s so interesting how gamers here act like the taste in video games is this objective thing everybody should agree with. And yet if you look at lists like this you see that there are human beings in another region of the world that are into largely different shit then we are.

I agree to a degree with him. People are raising Kojima on golden pedestal and giving him free passes on quite a lot of stuff given what has happened to him. And I think the hate towards this splash screen is that it is quite ridiculous and long for a game logo intro. Yeah, it is nice but think about seeing it…

I also spotted Ultros, and what looked suspiciously like a Judge. Either they’re spinning a crazy Dark Tower-style crossover web, or the film’s rammed to the gills with fanservice. Either way I’m in :D

I’m really hoping the next one impresses, Mandkind Divided. We haven’t seen enough of the hubs and the levels so far shown were very dark and uninteresting but it may be a small sample of what is to come. The hub in China (forget name) really impressed me with the various locations for HR.
