"antics of tanned assholes"

I know I'm in the minority, but I loved the bad-ass Ripley/Alien hybrid in Alien Resurrection. Sigourney Weaver's was great in it.

If I recall correctly, the thing that made it really funny for me was that Bart's "shame" was concealed most of the time through a sequence of extremely unlikely occurrences. The one time that it was visible was when it should have been physically impossible to see it - the bush tops weren't connected to the bush

I don't know much about websites and RSS feeds, but you guys at the AV Club might want to switch from "partial feed" to "full feed" when you run these ads - if it's at all possible. I'm only seeing the first two products when I'm viewing offline during my commutes. An unless I'm interested in one of those two items,

Avert your eyes. Nothing to see here. Entertain yourselves with "Mutts". Oh look, the cat is playing with a little pink sock or a squirrel is throwing an acorn at someone again. Hopefully they'll repeat variations on this "joke" for the next six days so that it sinks in. Better yet, how about another week long

I never heard the term either. An article I found, dated over a year ago, asks the question "Where Did 'Yas Queen' Come From? And Why Is It Taking Over Pop Culture?"

That's something that confused me. I get that she took the real Mina's hair when she was "found". But how did she fool the DNA test that police gave her the second time? Was that explained?

I thought that was great. Dylan's "Goth Eyes" look isn't an affectation - it's makeup covering self-inflicted scars! Brilliant!

Out of curiosity, did that "Holding finger up while drinking" pose exist before Archer? I'm not putting anyone/thing down - just want to know if this is a common thing.

"Why does our house have blast shields"?

So, is it safe to say that Krieger is OUR Kreiger and not a clone since the alien referred to him by name?
