It's a side effect of the reveries, for sure. With the new Ford story line coming the one hand, and the Maze on the other hand, I'm interested to see how much of this is designed v accidental. Was Maeve woken up, or just never put to sleep? How many WestWorld Gods are there?

I still think that the Tyler Durdan/Arya=Waif theory could be true. That would be why her death was off screen.

I remember the hard drive memory thing coming up on a travel site that recommended copying you credit cards as backup. That was ages ago. The same issue here was a problem then, who wants to leave their CCard #s on a hard drive anywhere.

Using the tape re: Mesa Verde will inevitably injure Chuck's reputation, as his condition/tactics/family turmoil is a professional turn off. Maybe he does extort Jimmy after all. Maybe Chuck overplays and ends up committed. But it seems that no matter what, Kim is the pivot point for turning Jimmy into Saul. I hope

Very well said.

Yeah, I was thinking Howard knew by the look on his face at Chuck's house before the hearing. I hadn't thought about Kim.

Yup

I found an article re: a CBS broadcast on this same point, focusing on corporate security.

Magnets!

Inquisitor. That's it. Remember the shot in NAILED when Jimmy & Kim walk in, w Chuck seated, wrapped in his crazy blanket like a deranged judge? Inquisitor is the word.

I think Jimmy knew. I think all of that convenient phrasing (exactly the way you said, every detail, Nixon, etc) was intentional. I think war was declared, and this was the first battle.

I'm starting to wonder if Jimmy knew. But I'm also thinking of how this will blowback on Kim…lots for her to navigate.

You're right. Jimmy knew he was being recorded, then, maybe. That's some twisted con.

Mike's not getting any younger.

When Chuck popped the STOP button, what a perfect moment to fucking cuss out loud at the TV. That's a man who wants to die alone.

Mantis, I agree. He's got a couple things working, tho. Guilty about his son, feeling HUGE responsibility for the family he has left, then the Cousins show up with his sweet granddaughter in the pool. They take aim, and Bang. Rage. Add Hector killing the samaritan Mike accidentally put in harms way and Mike is Ready

Fair point.

It's mildly shady for a couple of reasons already listed By others…he states he has a team, but handles everything by himself w.o a computer so cannot easily share files w his team for review. He misrepresents his fitness to represent, when walking through the metal detector, etc.to represent Mesa Verde lays him out

Sure, until Walt. Hector provides hours of satisfying payback for Los Pollos, but then he gets his own chance. Ding!

Still laughing!!!
