This is interesting.

Not unrealistic. It is very unrealistic to think Chuck can be fair about Jimmy.

In Season 1 she said HHM paid for her Law School

Etsba, I thought this, too

Gotcha

Seasons one and two are excellent

Just because Chuck believes something, doesn't mean it's 100% accurate. There's a lot of reasons to think he's not able to see clearly when it comes to Jimmy. And it's also possible he's holding something back on purpose.

Zero reason? Chuck has clearly stated bias against Jimmy. He never stated why he thought Jimmy took the 14K, if he had evidence he would've presented it. He has taken covert action to thwart Jimmy. He is not likely to give Jimmy the benefit of doubt, and is unlikely to have confronted Jimmy about the 14K. Re: Kim, he

That could NOT possibly be him trying to chat her up! More like the opener to a speech at Toastmasters.

Jimmy should work for one our those companies, he would be a star.
NM, that wouldn't work either.

Ha! Now that's opening a can of worms. Although Chuck was away at school a lot when Jimmy was growing up…law review is usually 2nd year law according to Wiki. So about his 6th yr of college…Hey, who was paying Chuck's tuition? Pretty sure that more than 14K!

In these shows, being cocky/prideful or rule breaking is one thing, but pretending you're the opposite will kick your ass. Jimmy should've worked on Wall Street or some other cut throaty corporate gig where breaking rules is part the job description.

Pride IS. In BCS it's Chuck & Hamlin (what's his first name, again)

Ayyyyyy

Hi there, Bob Dole, who was always the guy who got Both sides of the aisle to work together! I would draw the line early in Season 1. And not a line so much as a sliding scale. He picked meth because he knew he was a Badass chemist. And because crime is fast money, which his family needed. About the time his problem

Really really great casting for the Neo Nazis helped

But he finally built a robot, and it was a robot Scarface.

Tuco and Hector are full antagonists. I agree with whoever said Chuck and Skylar have things in common. Skylar was more honest. Both see the world in simpler terms than the main characters (right/wrong 4 Skylar, legal/illegal for Chuck) and both are controlling & self righteous. Both initially at least, only see one

GITM has a point. Kim isn't 7-8 months pregnant, either, w a disabled son by Jimmy OR married 15+ years, either. So 1) more attractive to male viewers 2) not as invested in Jimmy, & her reactions factor that in. She's already considering giving him the ax. This makes it easier to be chill. Skylar never had it so easy.

Ah. Walt not a classic protagonist. T Soprano, either. You see Walt's motives, making him more human and likeable, this is standard. But his actions make him a villain. Skylar in season one was naive and controlling, but defending herself from Walt's deception. Hating her for it isn't logical.
