Not all therapists are made equal, and shopping around for one is tough, but definitely worth it to find one who clicks! It worries me that there is a therapist out there who will downplay any sexual trauma.

The courage it took to write this piece. I felt sick the whole time reading it, I literally felt like I was going to throw up, mostly because of how relatable it is. Gracias, hermano, por su vulnerabilidad. Ayudó a mis heridas. 

Just wanted to wish you the best in finding a therapist you click with. There’s something so invalidating about opening up to a therapist who doesn’t “get it.”

I just want to come forth and say to anyone that was triggered by this - we are here for you and if you need to talk, just reply.
