I AM ALSO STILL MAD ABOUT THAT.
I AM ALSO STILL MAD ABOUT THAT.
Reading how Renee was treated made me feel ill. I’m so so so sorry.
That is true! Liv’s got nothin’ on Sculllaaaaaay
I love how everyone is Team Scully, I probably should have posted Olivia Dunham to be ~*unique*~
Sorry you languished in the greys for so long. This is some good commentary right here.
I don’t agree with everything you’ve said, but I have noticed the cohort that you’ve noticed: the trans activists who threaten and coerce and argue (die cis scum etc.) in masculine-coded ways, trying to terrify their enemies into submission. They are some of the loudest voices, precisely because they use these…
So are you saying all cis women are trans women’s enemies? I’m having difficulty understanding what you’re trying to say.
Kat Callahan is a pretty good example.
This is exactly how I feel. I’m not diminishing Caitlyn’s struggle, or her womanhood, but her experience is different and she and other late transitioners need to own that.
I have seen a lot of middle class white transwomen write blogs on how they are SHOCKED at how unsafe they feel after they start presenting as a woman.
That story is amazing!
My crazy Jewish grandma was the one who made me promise to not get married a virgin, because sexual compatibility is important; “You need to try it before you buy it!”
That is several levels of insensitive and gross and whyyyy.
I’m travelling back to 1996 this summer, if 1996 had maxi dresses and jorts. I just bought a baby doll dress and t shirt (super bummed it’s not a raglan) to go with my docs/birks. And bicycle shorts!
Your wardrobe sounds fun!
There are some purple-almost-black calla lilies that are really awesome! Purple velvet sounds like some variety of Limonium/Statice.
If you want to try something new, these are some of the common newer “purple” varietals around — there’s also Mentha, which is the closest thing to a true grey I’ve seen! (Blueberry is one of my personal favorites)
