If a kid really has the means to buy a M rated game why would this stop them from just staying up late and buying it then. When I was a kid that's when I used to watch the naughty stuf on tv. :P

There is one major major flaw with this. Even if they have a bedtime you can buy games from the wii tablet. Why wouldn't they just take it in there room and buy it then?

so if you spend a year buying stuff on eshop and your console gets stolen you are basically fucked. So I guess the lesson is to not buy anything on eshop until they get that sorted out. Especially since most games I've seen are full priced.

Not me. I don't have the luxury of being able to sit in front of a tv all day. I love portables becasue I can take it with me without lugging around a bunch of equipment. I like my ipad and iphone but I hate touch controls. I keep trying to like them but i cant seem to get into them.
