True, but it’s widely known here (in Cape Town) that he’s been living here for years. I would have thought someone relevant would have picked up on it.

My father’s parents were first cousins, and I’m fine. The extra arm’s a real help too.
Seems to be an unpopular opinion judging from the comments so far, but I found this too awkward to finish watching it.
I’m not sure how you’re trying to use ‘nonplussed’ and it’s really bothering me.
Not in my family, but I guess that makes sense.
Uuuuuuuum, isn’t father’s day about children giving their fathers gifts? And if too young, the other parent (or other main caregiver/s) does it on their behalf? Seems weird to give your partner sex on your kids behalf, no?
So glad that I’ve loathed their music for years. My emotionally abusive ex boyfriend made me a mix-cd with all his favourite music in which they featured prominently. This was so that he could listen to it while I drove him around (using public transport or the university shuttles that came straight to his residence…
I read this for the first time 2 weeks ago (at the age of 27) on the recommendation of my boyfriend. IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD. I’m a big re-reader of children’s books and I think I often just enjoy them because of nostalgia, but this was really special.
Also AGREE about ‘the golden compass.’ I know it as Northern Lights, so…
Antidepressants are actually not indicated for mania, as they can cause it.
YEP
I’d just like to add my support to the others suggesting the Mirena.
Sounds like you need it badly. I wish you many years of light/no periods.
If you need any further advice or anything (particularly in relation to Cape Town) , I’m very reachable on facebook. And in case of emergency, all my contact details (phone number, etc) are available to my facebook friends.
Oh, forgot to add that Kirstenbosch botanical gardens has a new years concert. This is one of my other favourite places in CT (although it’s important to go during the day).
Oooooooooh. That’s a difficult one. I have a tendency to fail hard at NYE (have spent some of the recent ones playing board games to be honest).
It does sort of make sense. I suppose one has to get used to the foreign bacteria?
Yay! Glad I’ve helped :)
Yes. In fact I’m usually pretty disgusted by the occasionally drinkable tap water I’ve had in other countries.
Whoops. Looks like I replied to the wrong comment. How confusing/awkward.
These are pictures of/from Seapoint promenade that I took this evening. It’s one of my favourite parts of Cape Town, and also happens to be one of the most racially mixed public spaces (something that’s unfortunately not that common in Cape Town).
If it’s not on your list, you should see if you can work in an evening…
Tap water is fine in South Africa, and tampons and pads are super easy to find. Also, the cities are pretty liberal, so covering up is not a huge issue, especially at the beach :)
