Not true. Though I can only speak for Brazilian dubs, and I reckon it’s a difficult language to lip sync with English, which is a large cause of discomfort. Sure, they’ve improved over the years, and kid’s movies nowadays are actually quite well localized (often they even translate on-screen stuff!), but most dubs

I’m intersted [sic], and I’m glad it’s in English.

Wow, talk about conceited. How do you think most people around the world watch movies? It’s either dubbed, usually badly, or subbed.

Chronicle had a pretty good premise, and a great first half, but I hated how it ended.

I’m pretty sure this will only cover the first half of the anime, if that much. But I’m not optimistic about this - specially since a lot of what made the anime great was how it took its time and developed in a natural pacing,

So many precious snowflakes afraid their children can’t handle being corrupted by the irresistible sight of queer people.

I do believe anyone whose job is to entertain the masses, and whose money depends on their popularity, has a responsibility to at least do their best to listen to and care for their community. I feel he has been failing at that ever since he became famous (and honestly, I’ve always thought his videos were meant more

It’s great for prototyping and maintenance, and for a game that keeps changing all the time that’s important. That said, Eve is not known for being particularly efficient, and I reckon that’s a large part of the reason.

Depending on the circumstances, a few hundred or thousand times slower. But that’s what people never get, it’s not meant to replace the performance-critical code. It’s meant to operate together with it, to make change-prone code easier to write and maintain. It’s not about what’s easier; for a game that keeps evolving

ARG stands for Alternate Reality Game. It’s like a metagame outside the game, where real people get together to try to investigate the clues spread around some media (in this case, the game, but sometimes youtube videos or such) and figure out what to do with it. It usually involves many layers of interaction, like

It’s 1:16 after the first trigger, so 2:16 total. I’ve tried it for an hour, but all the instructions I followed around were not clear on many points. I only figured some stuff out after watching ImTheBlueRanger’s walkthrough.

This Pokémon Go trend very much reminds me of Dennou Coil.

And so Wally became the Flash in Barry’s place, Jesse got superpowers and eventually Wally will have to retcon this event to save Barry.

But they did sort of invent doing that outside the game to enrich an otherwise storyless multiplayer game. At least, they were the first to do that right.

    Is it a coincidence? o.o

Technically, I didn’t start that sentence with “technically”. And you were nitpicking so I nitpicked your nitpicking.

Nah, they are just alpha testers. People will only be trapped when they release this thing.

Actually, his little brother was payment for the humunculus, and then his left arm and half his leg were payment for getting his little brother’s soul back.

Maybe they’ll port it to my TI89? Lack of color and small screen space aside, it seems pretty doable.

I didn’t even know there was a “What are those” meme. What does that make me?

You should still watch the original series, though. You could mentally replace the mechas with any other kind of weapon, as long as it’s overwhelmingly more powerful than the mobile stuff we have today. That’s literally the only role they play - to provide an excuse for Britannia’s military superiority.
