Actually the C-Type head was put on the xk140MC (55-56) and possibly an XK150 variety, although that is escaping me for now. That is almost definitely a xk140 3.4 with the c-type head. Maybe a 150.
The inline six was not a ‘lower’ model in any sense of the word. Jaguar switched to the V12 in 1972 from the inline six. The inline six was more powerful, the car had a better design and a better transmission for the series 1 (1961-7).
Wish it was actually a 1967 Corvette in the lead in image.
I like the ‘05, last year without traction control. However, the radio, speakers, wheels and a couple other things were all upgraded in 06 and beyond, so some prefer those.
Honda S2000 (2.2L), fantastic handling, best transmission I have ever driven, rocketing through the rpms. Nothing has ever come close since.
This was the first thing I thought about. Anyone who has driven an s2000 knows what it feels like. You can hear it too.
