Whelp, I guess I'm done with the internet. I've seen all of the pictures now.

Presumably some sort of climate zone unit? It doesn't look like anything familiar.
But do mac drivers exist for all hardware? According to the lifehacker hackintosh guides I keep reading, it's still a major problem, especially for things like wifi chips and graphics cards
Agreed. I'm not horribly pissed at them for trying, but the execution didn't work out.
I've never hackintoshed a pc or ran windows on a mac, but I have a feeling the latter would run far better. Windows is designed to work everywhere, OSX is most definitely not.
Apology accepted.
Yeah the expediting can really cut down on the time if you're at one of the regional centers. SF is the hub for a lot of the west coast, and that saved my ass once when I lost my passport shortly before a trip.
I don't know if it's still around/relevant, but in the days before google did that, I used Tineye Reverse Image Search
Touch seems like a nice novelty, and works well at the phone/tablet size, but do you really want to keep your hand in the air the entire time you're using your computer, and flick it across twenty inches to move across the screen? One of the advantages of mice is magnifying hand movements
And yet we're apparently in one of the most peaceful years in one of the most peaceful decades in human history
But the DAC still isn't great. You'd want to hook up a good CD or record player to a 30k speaker, at the very least
Why are you and mkirkland so angry? "mongoloid Slate writers"?
The problem is that the RIAA is really pretty a scumbag operation. They sue people at the drop of a hat based on the fact that they traced something to an IP address, and there have been numerous cases where they sued an elderly grandmother by mistake, or a coffeeshop with open internet, or a network printer. Those…
I think the end point you're making—that there's no magic bullet and it's about working out and eating well—but you're not making much of an argument by throwing out thermodynamics and expecting everyone to listen, and calling them naive and gullible. Do you think that a diet composed of 2000 calories of sugar is as…
In terms of fitness, fitocracy is pretty awesome
I consider parents to be a lost cause, but I think it's worth keeping your kids on a full account, just so they can fuck things up. When I was a kid, having my own computer that I f'ed up to the point of needing someone to reinstall windows, then had to learn how to manage it, was what taught me how to use computers…
No. I mean, if they showcase a newly announced camera or laptop line without digging into the possible patent wars behind it, or the possibly deplorable conditions in the factories, it's still not a paid post.
You're an ass.
It's specifically for fitness, but I finally got a fitocracy invitation, and I'm curious to see how that'll be
Haha truer words have never been spoken.
