Not at all, its a very popular pet name, used in a tone of a songs, very romanticized. My families have had multiple pets with the name.
I don’t think we know a lot abuot MbP but I’d think it’d fall into the personality disorder category. Which are not very treatable, not after the behavior is set.

My family is Puerto Rican and I’ve always thought of them/refereed to them as immigrants. They were granted/born citizens but they have the experience of immigrants. So, I find the description of Sotomayor perfectly fine - if its not being used to discredit her. Maybe today coming over the mainland isn’t too different…
