Coming from Dota blah blah blaaaah, this is insane to me.

Kaplan’s idea behind PTR is that it’s there to just find gamebreaking bugs or something because, in his opinion at least, he doesn’t feel enough people play PTR to justify changing balance-related things.

Brewmasters haha?

Perfect balance is impossible, but I don’t think that should be what “balancers” should aim for, or else their game will get boring fast. With that said, the answer isn’t to make one character completely broken to make things feel fresh.

Potentially unpopular opinion, but man, Blizzard has never been good at balance in any of their games. I don’t know if it’s from a differing philosophy on how to balance, but when you’ve got classes in WoW that are pretty much useless, players quitting Hearthstone over balance, and then this stuff in Overwatch,

Hey Jason, lovely review. I atmitidley skimmed past some parts because other game journalists have pretty much said to go in as blind as I can. However, I didn’t see you mention anything about the story of the game, do you have any thoughts on that?

I desperately want VG.J to win. RotK deserves SOMETHING

Venge is probably my favorite, good to see another Venge-player! I like that she can play both carry and support quite easily, which is rare for any hero these days.

Hey Eric, what’s your favorite hero to play currently? What’s your favorite hero to watch!?

I feel things are sorta reverse-Shanghai though. Mostly everything outside of Shanghai went fine. It was when we got into the actual tournament that things were really shitty.

“Hi I did little to no research and now am going to spew garbage from my mouth”

My favorite thing about this is the animation. I don’t know why, but it’s just kinda funny? In a good way!

I made assumptions based on what happened in DOTA, the 2nd most popular MOBA, which I think is a fair thing to at least draw some assumptions from if I didn’t fully understand League’s rules. I never even stated that any of this would happen for sure, just that it would happen if Riot didnt have anything in place to

Buddy you need to calm yourself.

My point is that unless Riot talks to players behind the scenes or just outright makes up a rule against it, I won’t be surprised if players use this new tool more and more. Again, why wouldn’t they? What reason would they have not to when large amounts of money are on the line?

The tool was just introduced, players are not used to having the ability to call for a remake. Reply to this in a year and then we can talk about it.

These games can range from 20 minutes to over an hour, for both games sometimes. If players had the choice to call out every single thing they thought as a bug into review, they would take full advantage of that. When sometimes millions of dollars are on the line, why would you not do that? Games would take forever.

Now playing

Players just deal with it. See this video for an idea. Some context; there is a character named Pudge, who’s kinda like Blitzcrank. He can hook people to his position. Years ago, there was a bug where if Pudge was instantly teleported back to base via a spell, the hooked target would be brought all the way back to

I mostly play Dota 2, and there’s an interesting difference in philosophy between that and League on how to use this tool. As mentioned in the article, Dota has had this feature for a looooong time, but they use it very sparingly. If a bug occurs, unless it is absolutely game breaking, the game goes on no matter what.

Are you okay?
