Adulthood?
Bro-ing is boring. I’m so hopeful I never have to do online dating where I have to venture a guess at what other people find interesting or attractive. If anything, online dating seems like it would just make me blase about people in general.
I’ll stick to Burning Love, thanks.
damnit you’re cynical.
What if you have a question? Guess I’ll just have to self educate more.
No neophytes allowed to talk about feminism or inquire about it, you either self educate to a PhD or get out forever.
Would it have been less derailing if he asked “is consumerism at odds with feminism in the case of fashion mags that exist solely to get prosucts sold and use esteem basgig to do so?”
What made his question a derailment though other than identifying himself as a man? maybe armchair Internet feminism is better when everyone just pretends to be a woman so they aren’t shooed away and told “I’m not doing research for you”.
A good ally just nods and listens and doesn’t actually ‘do’ anything lest they get in the way and make it about thenselves, amirite.
Thank you!
you have a pretty low bar on what constitutes “making this about yourself”
He’s not defining it, he’s asking women to define it so he has a more informed idea about all the facets and meanings. He is referencing actual conversations with women here and not saying “here is what feminism is to me, a man, deal with it”
This is me. The sexist thing about sex isn’t fabric enhanced titilation, it’s knowing the other person sees me and desires me sexually through words and action.
bad idea: it’ll be the fedora of under garments.
Yup, men have no stakes in feminism. I’m so thankful that you let me off the hook after so many years.
Are their navels so large they can’t help but gaze upon them.
they have to be street level marketers
Well, time to hang up Scrabble. It’s a child’s game now
What NBA team needs good defense? They know who to call now.
Ahem, a privacy advocate, not a teacher.
