Not sure this vitriol is totally necessary. No one who actually plays a lot of competitive pokemon actually thinks Smogon is in charge of deciding what can and can’t be used. Their format is their own thing and their bans are obviously unenforceable in the actual games.

That anecdote about Magmar and the bridge is the most exciting thing I’ve read about the game, nothing gets me going these days like a game respecting my time.

I’m glad! Give it a try! As an adult fan of the series who’s been steadily losing interest in the games each generation, this one managed to completely rekindle my love for Pokemon and has me actually looking forward to what’s going to come next!

Reading all of this sold me more than anything else on this game. 

I think this game is going to sell way more than anyone suspects.

They’re running it on a PC, pre-day 1 performance patch, so any performance metrics are gonna be pretty useless. They tried to get a console code and couldn’t.

It’s worth remembering that in the span of like four or five weeks, Horizon: Zero Dawn, ME: Andromeda, Breath of the Wild, and Persona 5 all released that year, and part of what sank Andromeda was the availability of excellent, recently released, open-world action/rpgs that critics and gamers could easily compare it…

So....RE4 is next for a remake....right?  Please?
