i've not read the book, but I'd have been sincerely disappointed. Would have felt like shock and awe, not a show rooted in real characters. I think it would have deterred me from watching. Hard enough to view them a real people.

Yeah good points. My view of lara is that she is this wholesome, down to earth, "good" persona, Axe uses it, unknowingly, to balance out his soul. It's like she's what says, "Axe, you are not such a bad man…", in his mind. If that makes sense.

But all this sent me back to the "juice" convo with Wendy and Chuck. They were sipping juice, and talking about their separate money and Wendy made a confident line that her money was his money too.

BRILLIANT. Ok, but Wendy… What is her fallout? Emotionally and judicially.

Monty, TAKE MONTY. I'm sure he's a sweet kid, but he falls so flat to me as a character.

YES!! I actually been rewatching with a youtube reactioner. Have you ever done that? I just started and it's so much fun. Course be good to watch all of it, full-on ep first, then watch the reaction. This is the channel I watch. You can pick one to test. 5x3 is good. Or Rrains of Cashmere. 3x9 :) or 4x2 << actually

Am i the only one that feels this resettling? Like, Lily was pulled away, now Nora is probably here she should be emotionally. Lily wa a coping mech. Much like I think Kevin and Nora have been to each other. Maybe that's not popular, but to me it always has been, but you feel it strongly now. They are drifting back to

that too! I meant, rem at the end of ep 1 of season s6, when Mel at the very last seen turned old? It was like the last clip.

Man, I want Henry to jump up, and be a wrench in this. It's coming, I can feel it!

True…. or, she had it wrong. He's not what he seems.

On the CIA topic, anyone think the gf is CIA? Stan's.

    Clearly, you knew my ex.

    THIS WAS FANTASTIC!!
Best I've read on this show.
You can stay on this beat.
    Love live the frizzy-curled hair.
And poor Stan, he was already planning the wedding.
Henry is a ticking time bomb.
Actually all 3 (yes the long lost son) are tick, tock.

Jon out of his depth…. OK why can't we say something oh worth. He looks emotional and he's IN THE CRYPTS, prob visiting Ned. And will show is aunt— I mean, mom. Gonna be HUGE.

Because she's no different than all his commodities. She thought she was special. I mean she is his wife, but it's not what she thinks it is. TBH I think he chooses her bc her place in his life is to remind him of humble beginnings. That's her role. Everyone in his life plays a role. You don't do fill it and you are

it felt a little like, "we are running out of time, we have to cut some of these plot threads. Bye."

I wasn't angry. nor felt robbed either.

Me too! I love Kevin and Laurie actually. Complexity of it. They don't make it cut and dry — love and loss etc. There always seems to be a chunk of Kevin that feels a great safety in Laurie. Almost a deeper love. I thought that story honored it!

that's interesting bc that woman's family left her too. Which you can see Nora's plot through that lens.
