Well to be most cynical I’d say that’s a deliberate omission. He’s trying to claim that the bundle of anxieties about the future Cyberpunk is based on were capital-i Important—”Reaganomics!!”—while ignoring the updated version of the Yellow Peril.

I am so tired of “Dark, Gritty” stories. What we need now are “Bright and Fluffy” stories. Sure those stories will have conflicts, battles, and losses. But Good will triumph in the end. Winning wont be about defeating, but uniting. It will be about Hope. Good current examples (YMMV) The Flash, Supergirl, The Lego

Blame DC for marketing the show horribly.  It doesn’t help that it’s another subscription service on top of other services.  I do want to check it out, maybe when it comes to disc or an actually popular streaming service.

I liked the character stuff, and the season overall, but I feel like they slowed down a little too much. Especially considering the immediate jump in scope (character-wise, rather than plot/event-wise) was a bit jarring after last season.

A friend just suggested Terry Crews and Kevin Hart to play All Might in powered up and powered down form respectively.

Mark my words, Daredevil will be canceled early next year and so will Jessica Jones and The Punisher after their respective seasons air sometime next year. Netflix doesn’t want to pay the licensing fees for these shows anymore.

Ok, your plot hole could be solved quite easily: basically, since Peter Parker has been a viable asset to the Avengers, his life’s educational and hobby/craft pursuits are funded by Stark Industries.

I mean, even though season 2 was a dramatic improvement on season 1 in terms of narrative and character, they still hadn’t figured out how to shoot martial arts fights, which is just baffling for something like this.

If we start seeing similar announcements about other Marvel Netflix shows, perhaps it’s an indicator that Disney is cleaning house, removing any Marvel series from competing streaming services.

I̶m̶mortal Iron Fist

Iron Fist was bad and it should feel bad.

From the moment he was fired by Disney I said Warner should offer him whatever he wants to do. This would be the best move they’ve made since they hired Patty Jenkins.

Well, I don’t dislike Kaley’s Harley voice like I thought I might, but Lake Bell really does jaded sarcasm so well.

There’s been plenty of criticism. Most seem to think it was good overall, but with some glaring flaws. Joel makes it sound like they’ve recognised some criticism, so hopefully some of it will be addressed.

On the upside, this game has been selling like crazy, so a sequel is assured. Hoping Ham as a skin, symbiote will probably tie into the story. Some Spider Gwen would be great too.

DID YOU SEE SHOCKWAVE AND SOUNDWAVE? DID YOU SEE THEM?

Hey look, I can see what the robots are actually doing when they’re fighting each other...how neat.

At least now you’re caught up?

Aside from Joker, Jared Leto’s version of the character is reportedly getting his own film.
