Lunch room for the workers.
Hopefully this
In Cavill, we have an excellent Superman and an excellent Clark Kent, but we do not have the storylines or scripts he deserves. The problem with MoS and BvS is that while they have much of the details of Superman nailed down, they have no understanding of the spirit, which is the important part.
I was pointing out the other day that Cavill had never been allowed to be the best part of Superman, which is to say Clark Kent. I was beyond thrilled to watch Tyler Hoechlin just nail it on Supergirl.
Now you know the Murderverse is truly over that he feels free enough to say this.
I just want a retconn on his earth parents. Superman is an all powered alien. But he’s also one of us, raised with Norman Rockwell esce morals in the heartland by good honest parents. Pa Kent taught Clark to always do the right thing. Always believe in the good in people. Never compromise when it comes to right and…
I’ve heard people trying to defend McNair’s remarks as “something that people say all the time.” The thing is, I’ve never heard “inmates running the prison.” It’s always been “inmates running the asylum,” as in bat-shit psychotic patients attempting to run their psychiatric hospital. That being the case, his use of…
Wow, it’s almost like the protests, like the national anthem itself, have nothing to do with the troops and everything to do with the dehumanization of black people. Who knew!
I can’t speak to the legitimacy of the Bennett photo, but I do know this picture is real and it pisses me off. Really, though, we all kind of secretly knew.
Mark Hamill is a very meta human.
That was really fun.
At the very end of this cute, two-and-a-half minute short from Justice League Action, the Clown Prince of Crime…
If it ever gets released on dvd/bluray, I would imagine. CBS seems to be digging their heels on on this garbage streaming service of theirs.
Thanks for pinpointing my current STAR TREK problem. Kurtzman errs when he thinks Discovery has to be a serial. So far, The Orville (as surrogate Star Trek) is mostly episodic & kicking Discovery’s ass. In my opinion the most recent Orville episode, Krill, is a solid standalone with a message. I’m close to sticking a…
I Kinja’ed about this in another article about Discovery. Non-serialized TV was mostly a necessity back before Netflix and DVRs. Back then, if you missed an episode, you missed it. At least until it showed up again in a summer re-run or in syndication. Sure, VCRs have been a thing for a lot longer, but you had to…
Exactly. And on the Orville even though they were clearly enemies and clearly evil the captain still couldn’t bring himself to harm the Krill (Klingon) kids even though he basically just made a bunch of enemies by letting them live. When the comedy version is more moral and on point than the actual Star Trek…
I think a friend was talking about these two recently, so to be sure I have the right characters. Are these the two that you can conveniently insert into the movies in several locations to explain Why things happens the way they did? Like why the two storm troopers appeared not to see Obi wan on the death star etc? I…
That is my official head canon for that scene now. Briliant.
Is Supergirl Allowed to Mope?
