Uncomfortable is okay if your attitude is also live and let live, everyone should have the same rights and privileges I enjoy as a citizen.

All those years of Spider Man history to pull something from. All those interesting Spider Man villains to chose from. A crazy number of alternate universe Spider characters to pull something from. And the best they can do is boring Venom.

So you are saying some sort of

I think you are right. I think they even had a story on the new movie here on io9. Kind of seems like there was a split in the commits about should it be based on the movie like the production team was wanting, based on the TV show like some fans wanted, or reboot because the film was so long ago and it’s way too many

They have gotten pretty darn evil about making the BAF something cool to force you into buying the whole wave. To get Mantis from Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 you had to buy the wave.

The first I related to was Spider Man. He was on The Electric Company and they showed the reruns of the cartoon series. Just something about being a friendly neighborhood superhero that had fun stopping the bad guys. Even when he’d stopped someone like Doc Ock he’d still have to rush home to finish up his homework.

Perhaps it’s a way for the studio to test the waters without having to make a massive commitment. Out of all the old shows different studios have been trying to bring back it’s always been disappointing that Stargate wasn’t one of the shows coming back.

It’s a bit like saying which part of the flu was the worse. Just because the coughing was your least favorite part of the flu it doesn’t make the other symptoms any better.

So far April is the only design I like for this new show.

I think Marvel/Disney has seen what happened when the other studios recklessly dived headlong into cinematic universes so you can’t blame them for let’s take our time to work Fantastic Four and X-Men into our cinematic universe.

While The Last Jedi isn’t everything I could have hoped for in a Star Wars movie it still feels like it’s in the same universe as all the other Star Wars stuff. Luke might have gone from overly optimist hero to bitter old hermit but Wookies still act the same, bad guys wear white armor, the guns are still pew pew, and

I’ve kind of grown to hate shopping at Toys-R-Us. They will get really cool exclusives but the 35 mile drive to closest Toys-R-Us often results in a big pile of disappointment rather than actually purchasing anything. Even non-exclusives can be tough to find as I’ve often seen just a few Transformers on the pegs from

Bad calls, the great unsolved mystery of what the hell counts for a catch these days, and the abject failure to make the teams competitive with each other. Most of the divisions you know the division winners before the first snap of the season.

I gave up after the free over the air episode. But I do check the reviews to see if I’m actually missing something. So far it hasn’t struck me as something worth getting a streaming service for.

I agree you need to get people happy and excited for more before you go full blown connected movie universe.

Yep it’s not like horror is dead or that you need to break the bank on the production of a horror film. Steven King’s It had a production budget of $35 million and a domestic box office of $327 million. Get Out had a production budget of $5 million and a domestic box office of $175 million. You could pretty make all

Not that different than the problems the comic books have always had of how do you justify your non mutant really really good guys just sort of stand by while horrible evil stuff is happening to the mutants. With his connection to World World II you’d figure Cap would be the first guy to say hey no genocide.

I’m pretty sure slapping on some Star Trek themed Band-Aids isn’t going win anyone over that isn’t already a fan of this version.

Yea I can’t really think of anything live action where I thought Seth did a good job as an actor.

Even in their lifetime pirates were wrapped in what we’d call urban myth today. Since this image helped to make their job easier the pirates wouldn’t go out of their way to dispel the myths. The crews that were robbed also had a much better story to tell if the story could be twisted to say how lucky they were to get
