I think an ideal Doctor Doom requires two actors like Darth Vader.

The entire Spider-verse to pick something interesting from and they decide to go with Venom.

And now we have an answer to the question of how will they make it even worse this time.

In the build up the cartoon did to the character it seemed like he might be a cool character. Take all the historical commanders that might not pass as good guys and build a character out of all those parts. What could go wrong?

While we will never get the whole true story, sometimes things happen and a studio just can’t hit their early projected release date. After seeing how bad it can be when a studio says damn the torpedoes hit that release date I’m happy to wait a bit on a film when there are so many big films each year.

There is something oddly entertaining to the train wreck of watching a production team and fans fighting an internet war they never should have been involved in.

It’s almost like the studios have weaponized their fanboys. If you dare to give us anything other than a great score than we will release a pack of a rabid angry fans upon you.

I want to be optimistic.

The problem isn’t King Kong vs Godzilla. As long as you have a top notch effects company and someone who knows the fight choreography you need to make big things battling look cool that part is the no brainer.

Sorry but the Joker already did it back in the 60's.

Given the Hollywood love of product placement I was almost expecting them to say there was an original Amazon known simply as Amazon Prime.

It does seem like you wouldn’t have many movies to show if you could not show things that are not kosher somewhere in the Bible. Lie, cheat, steal, murder, the supernatural, magic, adultery, without something un-wholesome movies wouldn’t have any sort of conflict.

I don’t think it gets any hate for the man in a monkey suit. I think the problem is the man in the monkey suit looked so good that people were disappointed that everything else in the film wasn’t up to that level. One of those films where you just want to fast forward to the parts where Kong is on the screen.

Although it is kind of funny since Hasbro makes toys for both Transformers and Marvel.

Darn it I was just thinking about dropping Hulu, but now it looks like I have to keep it a while longer. Really liked the designs for the Gundams on Wing so I’m looking forward to another viewing of the series.

Still the same studio, still likely the same producers, and enough forces to prevent any sort of real change or improvement to think another director will have any sort of impact on the lack of quality to the Transformers movies.

Honestly I don’t get into the Oscars because they don’t ever seem to be the very best but rather what’s going to appeal to the very small very narrow band of people who actually get to vote for the Oscars.

When people give you a whole laundry list of problems you can’t fix just one thing and then expect everyone to love your franchise.

The Razzies tend to focus on the bigger movies because they have fewer excuses for being bad. You spend $200 million making a movie and you can draw in big talent to work on that movie then you expect good results. If a movie had a shoe string budget while scraping their production team and actors from what they could
