He did seem to have a gift for working hard as an actor but never seeming too serious. Big budget movies, low budget movies, television, it just seemed like I could enjoy his role if nothing else.

It is rather funny that with all the backlash Warner Brothers got from Man of Steel the one and only thing they seemed to take way was we need the buildings to be empty during the mindless destruction phase of the movie.

With the Razzies it’s not just being a bad film but did you bombard people with look at me look at me while making outrageous claims about how you were going to be the event film of the year? Bad will get you a long way with the Razzies but big and bad will really get you attention.

Being a geek long enough to see things come and go I’ve grown to appreciate the concept of it’s better to go out on top than than ride something into the ground. If Logan lives up to all the early reviews then I’ll be happy to see the actors retire their roles that way, even if a part of me will miss them.

Other than the claws it does seem like the only things Hulk would be getting out of this are side burns, a desire to smoke cigars, and the impulse to say bub.

I’ve got to give the team credit it was creepy, scary, and felt like a cold chill of evil. Thought as I got older things wouldn’t freak me out, but damn that was the stuff of nightmares on screen.

Serious is okay. Lots of serious films are good films that you can enjoy.

But the big question is will all 17 be grim, dark, gritty, dour, and depressing?

Feels like DC live action TV has really been kicking everyone else around lately. Cool stuff we haven’t gotten in the DC live action movies. The cool cosutmed villainy that the Marvel movies have been lacking. The big names and big powers the Marvel live action TV shows lack.

With how the DC live action movie universe is shaping up I could see myself pulling for Black Adam if he’s not grim, dark, grim, stick up his butt, and acting like a goth kid like the rest of the film universe.

It could be sneaky way of getting people into the habit of dropping into their stores. Used to be when people were thinking of doing a toy hunt they thought about places like Wal-Mart, Target, or Toys-R-Us, but now it seems like you have a better shot of finding something at Wal-Greens.

It’s been ages since I thought about Blood Bowl, but it was something fun and different out of Games Workshop. Not sure how the game has changed since those early day of crashing a fantasy world and American football together.

Okay then I’m not the only person thinking that. I do think that the Bombshells concept is a really cool one and so many of the products they put out are really cool looking. Heck I even got the dress patterns for a friend who is a burlesque dancer. But darn those action figures are creepy looking, and the price tag

Can’t decide if the Batula toy is some sort of follow up to the 1932 Island of Lost Souls or if Man Bat opened a chain of fried chicken restaurants.

Just as long as Cisco and Jughead get to debate Big Belly Burger vs Pop’s.

Perhaps Abbott and Costello Go to Mars could get an honorable mention for never actually going to Mars like the title says.

Yes they have to make one every so many years but from the other break we saw that they don’t have to make one every year or two. Not sure how solo films work for the rights so maybe something like a series of successful Deadpool movies could count for Fox using the property.

Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves have a funny moment in John Wick 2 that is a sly little wink wink nudge nudge towards The Matrix but a little nod to it here and there is all they really need to do with The Matrix.

At this point they could troll just about every studio that comes out and says hey we are going to have a big expansive cinematic universe as well. Every studio wants to be Marvel/Disney but they want it over night instead of putting in the years of hard work and risk to build one.

Got to go bigger because that’s just kind of the trend with big things in movies. When King Kong originally came out he seemed massive because there wasn’t anything else like Kong in theaters. Now we have bigger and bigger robots, Godzilla upgrades his size all the time. Kong just has to keep up with the damn that’s
