It’s tough having to give up on something you loved in some other form because the studio doing the movies lacks the movie making mojo to craft it into an enjoyable film. I know because I’m a huge GI Joe fan but I’ve had to face the facts that Paramount will never make a great and enjoyable GI Joe movie.

Netflix would be my choice of places to have the show. ABC has loads of spy stuff with Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter but really light on the whole superhero thing. Netflix on the other hand seemed just happy with jumping into the whole superhero thing.

On one hand NO! On the other hand it was feeling like it was getting to the point where it was about time to wrap things up.

Now if the Michael Bay movies would just give people explosive diarrhea.

So Bruno Heller is some sort of alien that only comes out of it’s hibernation chamber to write. How else can you not know about the Superman TV show from the 50's, the Batman show from 60's, the Wonder Woman show from the 70's, or all the other costumed heroes that have hit the small screen.

Like that ever stopped the IOC. Don’t forget the 1936 Olympics were held in Nazi Germany as the IOC turned a blind eye to what was happening to the Jews.

I’m going to be so disappointed in 2020 if Tokyo doesn’t find a way to have Godzilla light the Olympic cauldron.

It just seems a bit odd to have this idea that someone couldn’t be both a geek and gun owner. I’ve ran into plenty of people who were both sci fi geeks and gun geeks. So someone being able to answer questions about safety with real guns to geeks looking to potentially buy a real gun doesn’t seem like such a horrible

With a new Transformers movie coming out in June of 2017 let’s hope this trend of people giving up on the big summer movies can last at least one more summer. If we don’t kill it now Paramount has threatened to release a Transformers related movie every year. Because hey we can all be Marvel/Disney and crank loads of

I wonder why humans are the only species that don’t seem to mutate into something monstrous in Australia? Given what the place does to everything else and the love of Rugby you’d expect everyone from Australia to look like the Mountain from Game of Thrones and able to spit either poison or Vegemite.

I’ve been calling it the summer of big movie blah. Nothing to really hate with a passion and yet nothing to really love either. Seems like all the summer movies were either eh not so bad or eh not so good.

Fox only cancels things people actually enjoyed like Firefly.

I’ve tried really hard to like the show and I’ve given it more chances than I really should have. But ouch instead of better it finds new ways to get even worse.

The marketing for Suicide Squad made it one of the films I was looking forward to the most this year. While the trailers still had sort of that dark tone in background they seemed on the fun side. So I thought well hey maybe dark humor, I could go for some dark humor. The posters were cool and I kept up with Suicide

We can’t put any faith in what Warner Brothers will tell us because we get the everything is great, everyone will love it, it will easily breeze past one billion world wide. The lesson from Suicide Squad is don’t trust the trailers.

Exactly, how do we know that the Bothans aren’t just the most accident prone species in the Star Wars universe?

I’m not sure if it’s really too much of a good thing when it’s a thing that gives me a feeling of a lot of must see shows on the CW. Even when a DC/CW show is having a bad season I still end up watching for the cool factor of it all being in the same TV universe. Honestly if they added three more superhero shows I’d

The DC fan boy reaction is the most entertaining part of Warner Brothers/DC live action movies. One day Warner Brothers might mess up and make a really solid and good live action DC film, but until then I’m going to laugh like the Joker when the conspiracy theories break out.

It seems like they roll out a new Megatron every film and none of them are memorable, just another jumble of silver parts. Just another design where even the Transformers fans have to ask who is that supposed to be so the promo pictures have to include the characters name to know who it is.

If Warner Brothers was doing smaller budget superhero films where the box office didn’t have to be insane then take risks. Fox only budgeted $58 million on Deadpool so it didn’t have to bring in a massive box office haul to make the studio a nice profit.
