The way the Denver defense was playing John Elway could have came out of retirement and won that game.

Both healthy and that the coaches on the other teams don’t find some weakness in the defense that can be exploited. Putting everything into defense can work for a while but it’s hard to remain on top without some offense.

I’m more proud of the Carolina Panthers for cutting this horrible person from the team than I am of their winning record so far this year. Wins come and wins go but to say you don’t want that sort of player on the team speaks more to character than any number of wins.

My comfort is knowing sports history, so no sports dynasty can survive the ravages of time. Before you crow too loudly as a sports fan you have to remember that every team will face a period of can’t win for love or money.
