Star Wars and something from 100's of years ago like pirates with little flint lock pistols. But anything modern military or near future military is completely out of the picture. Closest they ever got was the little green army men set for the Toy Story Lego line.

I didn’t think I could get any more burned out on the Transformers films, but Paramount seems dead set and determined that somehow they can make it even worse.

They do love to throw things out the window like according to the experts the Panthers were not supposed to have a winning season much less make it all the way to the Superbowl. So the team has weakness that Denver managed to exploit better than any team this year except for the one game with the Falcons.

If we dug around in the tapes long enough you could find a tape of just about everyone that took losing a game hard. Pro football can be highly emotional game and sometimes players are just human after a tough one.

I think something needs to grab you early and keep you in it’s fictional universe during the slow bits instead of saying hey hang around long enough and maybe something cool will happen. A book series like Game of Thrones already has people hooked long before dragons and the bodies start piling up.
