I just spent three nights in Portland and each one of them included a stop at Cascade, which was conveniently two blocks from my Air B&B. That place is a revelation, even for a guy who considers himself somewhat experienced in the world of sour beer.

If you get a chance, head to the coast. Nothing against Cascade Barrelhouse, but deGarde Brewing in Tillamook, OR does it better for half the price.

One of the things that blew me away about Portland the first time I visited is that they have brewhouses/barrelhouses devoted to specific types of beer.
