Let me tempt you to the Dark Side:

You can rag on anything else, but for some of us, lip balm is NOT optional.

I would probably split the difference & heat it up a little bit. I've made this, it's really good yet fast:

Sorry, I have no counter space in my bathroom to clutter, and shelves attached to the wall above my throne make me nervous. Any recommendation for nice, modern above-the toilet cabinets. My Menards one is OK, but not stylish:

It's a really useful tip for role-playing games, where you might be in the middle of a battle and have to wait 2 weeks to get back to it:

One of the most Lifehacker-y places of all, Ax-Man Surplus in St. Paul, MN: http://ax-man.com/

I'm somewhat squeamish and like to toss cleaning pads when I'm done with them, but I want to be green, so I use S.O.S. Pads. Just steel wool and soap! Good for kitchen countertops, bathtubs, sinks, and crusty pots and pans.

Oh yeah, and feeling just TERRIBLE when homeowners complain about putting their back out shoveling during the winter (and mowing the lawn, raking the leaves - we have all the seasons in Minnesota).

Mine is still going strong. I use my Samsung Blu-ray for streaming video, but I still use my Apple TV for Internet radio, streaming my music to both rooms in my apartment, looking at my photos, and my significant other's audiobooks.

These Monoprice ones are the best, in terms of sturdiness and ease of removal. Plus, pretty colors!

I am OK with either paying or waiting for things, although I am skeptical that companies will get as many people paying for TV shows as they hope (I only paid for Veronica Mars and Community to show support & try to keep them on the air). If it doesn't stream, I just get the DVD at the library.

They really don't expect to be told, "Nope!", do they?

If he doesn't drive, it's pretty minimalist. Remember, we non- drivers don't have a giant metal purse on 4 wheels.

If he doesn't have a drivers license and is job searching, he might be spending a lot of time on the bus, which I don't think has wifi even in Seattle (looks like some commuter trains do).

Am I the only one who goes in their Delicious and Simplenote accounts every 6 months to remove tags with similar/mispelled names (e.g. apple vs apples vs appple). It just bugs me. #librariansvsbadmetadata.

I want to start making stir-fries again to eat more veggies, but I'm lazy about making the sauce. Is there a recipe for the traditional soy sauce-cornstarch-rice wine-garlic-ginger sauce that can be kept in the fridge for a long time? Preferably not too sweet.
