Oh, there are definitely upsides to being sensitive:

You can control an Apple TV with a Logitech remote. The logitech software calls it a "Media Center PC".

Me too! I always travel with some small clip-on headphones as a backup to my big cans ever since I snagged my headphone cord getting up to get in line for the plane.

I like my $20 2XL Skullcandy cans from Walgreens:

For sheet storage, I like the zippered bags that blankets come in. Unlike this sort of thing, they don't have a frame, so are easier to squeeze into tight spaces like under the bed. You could combine it with the above tip.

To be thorough, shouldn't you have "Why I'm a mobile gamer"? I'll start:

Yes I'd rather have a bunch of little things/device choice than one big thing and a contract. That is how I am. Also, my calling cards are awesome: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ash966/…. I like to hand them out at Meetups or social events rather than badgering people for their phone number.

Because I'm a librarian, I can get away with carrying this all day, but a purse would kinda get in my way.

I mostly use it for opening packages and mail, but I'll look into the Multitool.

A few of our government buildings would have you go through the x-ray machine, but you could take it in. It looks small enough that our museums probably wouldn't ask you to check it, they don't for my small purse or my belt bag. The government buildings would hold on to the Leatherman and maybe the razor.

My laundry hack is, I just hang my shirts out of the washer and they don't need to be ironed. I hang them inside-out so they don't get dirty. Caveat: I'm a librarian, not an investment banker.

I use bigger binder clips on curtains to avoid that "one ray of light you can't shut out" issue when watching movies during the day.

I like to have the right device for the job, not one device that does everything so-so. I also hate contracts. This means I have a lot of little devices.

If your library has Overdrive e-books or Zinio magazines, you could read those.

I agree. Madhur Jaffrey's Gujerati Green Beans (http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/9083537) taste better with the garlic completely browned for a sweet & sour taste, and she explicitly says not to be afraid of browned garlic. It may depend on the culture the cooking you're doing is based on.

Apparently, they have quite the TOS: http://mikecanex.wordpress.com/2013/02/05/the-wtf-tos-of-bookish/

We are thinking of getting it - thanks for the recommendation! I have tried it a little. It looks good for reading on a tablet—compares favorably with my personal magazine subscriptions.

Thanks for this. I currently pay 20/month PAYG for a 3G Mifi from Virgin to use with my iPod Touch (I have a stupidphone for calls that I hardly ever use). I use it when I travel or on the bus.
