It seems zippier to me. For a while I was viewing FB on Opera because it was so slow. However, I did (a) set it up to notify me when actual friends posted, so I wouldn't have to scroll to find them, and (b) set it up to hide posts by organizations I like, but who post way, way more than I want to read.
