I played VIII recently... story and translation gets way too wonky to rate it higher than VII (which admittingly also gets wonky, but still not AS wonky). 

Felt the same way about FF16. Wasn’t that excited for it.... but the demo won me over. Wasn’t a fan of GOT either. This is very much worth it, though. You just have to play it for yourself.

I think the fonts look good, i think they should just add a bit of a dithering effect to the text window backgrounds to fit the retro style... as opposed to the hyper smooth modern gradient.
