They could easily ban uploaders who get too many take-down notices. They could require uploaders to use two factor authentication with their cell phones, just as they do with their Compute Engine.

Read “Future Ride” by Peter Wayner. He can come up with scenarios that get rid of 95% of the cars. It all depends upon how many rides people take. If the price gets low, people may travel more, keeping more cars around. But the privately owned car is just going to get too expensive. He makes that clear.

Companies don’t care if you learn computer science— they want to know if you can code. And a CS degree is full of way-out theory that is rarely helpful in coding. Most of the data structures are cute but worthless. Learning about compilers is dumb because no one builds a compiler and the ones that do just use LLVM.…
