I'm only thinking in terms of overall content and plot points.

This episode was way too fast paced. I mean I don't know what else they could have done, but considering New Girl had a one hour episode last night, they should start having one-hours for Brooklyn 99.

Another possibility is that Figgis has leverage on Bob and Bob is acting against his will.

If anyone's curious, you can't take the square root of that number.

I too don't want a repeat of old partner who's a personality clone turned dirty law enforcement officer.

Maybe he's an undercover black ops vigilante pseudo-double agent.

They could have postulated that Figgis and/or his men saw the detectives starting to follow him and preemptively deemed him a liability.

I hope there's a celeb reveal for Jimmy Figgis.

There are three unannounced episodes left so we'll know in due time whether anything is planned.

Hasn't it been said countless times that they're going the comedy route for this?

That's true. We have the son who looks like a lesbian setting off the chain of events that leads to Ethan Hawke getting stabbed, and then there's the daughter's boyfriend who thinks killing her dad will save their relationship.

I think it's been stated that the director wanted a street movie with this concept first and foremost but the budget for the first one was a paltry $3M.

No, that's Ultimate Marvel Universe Frank Castle.

Daddario has the Jump Street-style Baywatch movie coming up so that's arguably valid.

She hasn't been a total bust in Hollywood quality wise. She was super likable in Warm Bodies.

The guy lacks balls to handle the extreme hotness that is Alexandra Daddario. Lacking in balls is how to properly describe Sparks' work.

Male leads in Sparks films are just like the films they occupy: lacking in balls, hence him choosing the lesser of the two.

More like just a few million after production budget only.

Or maybe, just maybe, people decided for themselves that they didn't care to see it.

I'm pretty sure all the China references were put in *after* it became a Chinese co-production.
