The shit that comes out of his mouth makes any nugget of truth null in void as far as I'm concerned. Like this little gem here-

My Dad said something like that to me when I was a young teen, and it didn't seem creepy. I'm kind of pissed that people think it's creepy for a man to talk to his teenage daughter about her body. Who is supposed to do it then, you guys? We can't ask for body positivity but shame half of parents into not talking

Quoting Paul Mooney is a great way to lose all credibility. Fuck that asshole, he is the all time WORST.

I don't really like either of these people but I am puzzled by many people's expectations that entertainment stars are somehow required to comment on stuff like this. I really don't care if any of the people I follow weigh in on politics or social issues. It just isn't something I expect out of them.

This is incredibly satisfying. Nothing is more wonderful than the idea of misogynists having to admit their misogyny to the one woman who they think is somehow different. It's a beautiful thing.

HOW COULD YOU LIVE FOR 20 YEARS KNOWING THAT WAS FESTERING IN YOUR SKIN AHHHHHHHHHHH

I just realized that's a gratuitous quote-tweet. Ironically so the guy can take credit for a woman's joke. Here's the original:

Madonna has paid for her brother to go to ultra-high-end, intensive, long-term rehabilitation centres quite a few times. I did some reading on him the last time he sold stories about her to the press, and he's a pretty depressing, self-pitying piece of work. He's abandoned rehab every time she's paid for it, and

Musical equivalent of nonfat cottage cheese

Agreed.

It would seem so. Kind of shady to put it all the way at the end like that.

I didn't notice any decline while pregnant - but now that the baby's outside of me, hoo boy. I can go three days without showering and barely even notice, and conversations with me are likely to abruptly trail off into me staring blankly into space. That probably has a lot more to do with Geneva Convention-breaking

How dare this woman self-promote! It's like she has a book out & a tv show or something!

When you sell a manuscript for $3 mil and get a book tour for your book of personal essays, let me know if you find a way to not make it all about you.

What part of "Lena Dunham's official book tour t-shirt" is confusing for you? The sales might benefit Planned Parenthood, but the purpose of the shirt is to promote her book tour. I can't stand Lena Dunham, but give me a fucking break.

Is anyone actually surprised that Lena made a t-shirt benefitting Planned Parenthood and got lots of celebrities to wear it & show their endorsement of said organization & Jezebel commenters still make it all about criticizing her? Check out the misplaced focus!

"the fact that a seriously un-funny show with questionable moral takeaway has even made it all the way to episode 4 is, frankly, pretty mind-blowing." pffft how long has "two and a half men" been on the air?

I mean, I would hope that real doctors don't act like the ones in Grey's Anatomy, but we all know it's just a show. If the characters acted like normal, professional people, it wouldn't be entertaining.

I'm not even that flamed about the flag's implicit racist connotations.

Ignoring them just gives them free rein. I wish people would give up the idea that ignoring works in anything but very specific circumstances. Most of the time, to let something be unopposed is to give permission to it.
