Yeah, I don’t see any dick behavior there. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t like to throw his name around, but I don’t think requesting to be called your own name is a dick move.  Asking for something and justifying it based on your name is a different story.

I don’t see why having the name Henry Ford on his name tag would be such a dick move. It’s an ice breaker. I suppose he could have gone with Larry but why not use it to his advantage in selling cars and the more cars he sold the better for the dealer.

I don't have to be as diplomatic as Tom does, the dealers don't respond to your absurdly low offers because you are wasting their fucking time.
