“Type R has been FWD” is not a reason to avoid making an AWD version. Focus RS was always FWD until it wasn’t. Golf R/R32s were manuals until they weren’t. Evos were manuals until they weren’t.

I’ve read your post a few times over now, and I feel like you contradict yourself.

VAG not only cheated on emissions, but also on a federal(?) programme to clean up emissions. Then proceeded to re-act in the worst possible ways towards everybody. They just lost any credibility. Small wonder Diesel is now a lost cause.

Just a couple hours ago, I was stuck behind a late model Jetta wagon TDI. Every time it accelerate, a plume of black soot shoots out of the tail pipes.

If you thought the $33,900 base price for the 2018 Honda Civic Type R was a bit steep for a front-wheel drive hot hatch, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

In other news, the speeding ticket I received a few weeks ago is the fault of the cops who caught me. I will never grace that road with my exalted presence again. NEVER, I say!!

Fuck this guy. If he wants, he can lube himself with diesel before I put my foot up his ass.

Got reckt by a fishing merchant container vessel almost twice it’s physical size and roughly 5 times the weight.

I just got through doing this. I called both Keyes Honda in Woodland Hills and Downtown LA Honda and both said they expect markups of $10 and $15 grand respectively. And each of them is only getting one each. The markups with this car are going to be crazy if not crazier than the FoRS, which got to over 60 grand in

OOOOOOOHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I totally see where this is going...

Brakes got bigger before cars got heavier.

I feel like big brakes are also part of the reason why 15in wheels are out. It’s hard to fit any modern brakes under a 15in wheel unless it’s an economy car.

LMAO

I like this one better:

It’s all about the spring and damping rates compared to sidewall flex. Suspensions have gotten so advanced, the aesthetics of a large wheel have become the norm. But a lot of cars fitted with very low-profile tires have mushier suspensions to compensate. It’s been kind of fun to watch...well, except for having to buy

England: tyres
America: tires

If they went through the trouble of doing the engine swap, not just adding stick on badges, even if it is fake, I’ll give them props, this isn’t Bloomington Gold where factory grease pen markings need to be authenticated........
