Yeah...as a doctor who’s planning on doing something similar once I get the housing figured out...the LFA isn’t happening on a physician’s budget unless you’re a superstar neurosurgeon in a small metro who’s pulling down seven figures. I know docs like that who could afford it but this car isn’t affordable for 99% of

Chrome wheels on an anything other than a vintage muscle car or hot rod should be punishable by Prius.

This meets none of the criteria. Wants a V12 with stick for 150,000. You suggest a V10 with an automatic for 350,000+.

It would be exceedingly difficult to not get a Testarossa, Diablo or maybe even a Murcielago, but for completely something different consider channeling your inner 007.

These are $350,000.......way above the desired price range

Very cool, but aren’t these like waaaaaay more than 150k?

V12 : check

That’s why Jason’s choice is the correct one. Buy it for $27k, use the rest of the money for maintenance.

God damn that car is beautiful.

Aston Martin V12 vantage with a 6 speed manual.

>Carmakers don’t give a crap if you buy used. They make no money on used cars. Promise them that you’d buy new and then you’d get their gears spinning.

Funny thing is the current Camaro is smaller than the last one!

It sounds like you assume that all Camaros have pretty much the same weight. The base curb weight of the turbo Camaro is 3354 while the ZL1 nearly kisses 2 tons - there’s a wide range.

Look at the reviews for the V6 Camaro with the 1LE package. It’s been given very high marks across the board and also has laptimes that make cars 3x the price seem slow. I’ve seen some of them offered at Chevy dealers for less than $30,000. And 0-60 is around 5.2 seconds, which I wouldn’t really call underpowered.

I have a feeling his comment went way over your head.

Needs more power.

Came here hoping for a 2.2L version of the BRZ, came away disappointed. Don’t want a turbo, just a little bigger motor.

“Want the Turbo? tS, sTFU and GtFo” is the subtext here.

Hopefully they upgrade the fuel pump to one that’s track ready.
