Should we further ruin his point by pointing out Southwest, Virgin, Alaskan, Spirit, and all other narrow body airlines don’t transport within the cargo hold? And further point out united is one of three airlines in the US transporting animals globally?

Oh, you and your silly facts! Stop raining on their #outrage!

Yep. I was going to ask about the per capita rates and also air travel rates. If 1/3rd of airline pets that are flown are on United flights, then this is a Captain Obvious style statement. Typical of what has been published here lately.

need more stars to point out logic issues with so many of these statistic headlines

Plus what the second car costs that you’ll need when the BMW is on jack stands. There’s no such thing as a cheap old luxury car.

First question: How many total animals did United transport?

The thing is, most BMW interiors today are kinda chintzy for a BMW interior.

So you have a car that would be difficult to service or warranty in case of any reliability or even simple tuning issues, and a barebones interior at that. Cool.

You call it tiny and cute, but the BMW 228i weighs 3,300 pounds. The Toyota 86 weighs 2,700 pounds. On paper the 228i actually has a slightly worse power-to-weight ratio than the 86/BRZ/FR-S.

They’re cheap for a reason. These are literally the Chevy Cobalts of the BMW world.

This is the worst type of comment, not just because what you said was wrong - and very nearly everything you said is very, very wrong - and not because you washed it all down with a bit of bigotry about “tribals” and their huts, or the general ignorance about the viability of prevention vs. cure philosphy, but because

Actually, very little of the land warming up in Canada is “farmable”. About 80% of it is solid-rock Canadian Shield.

Good lord with the condescension man. You realize how much of a resource the oceans are right? Think about it. That’s 70% of the Earth. Ocean acidification is not up for debate.

I assure you that ocean acidification will have a profound effect on the global food supply, much more so than more rain in deserts.

The oceans becoming acidified and killing many coral and fish species is still a problem.

Apparently in their view the plebs should never have this much power. They can shove that King George III attitude right up their asses.

My photo response...

Exactly.
