I understand why a lot of people are upset by the random drops, material farming, weapon upgrade system and experience grinding. However, those gameplay elements aren't inherently bad. In fact, they appeal to a lot of gamers out there. For example, Korean MMO players are apparently obsessed with mind-numbing grinds.
