there are likely no shelters for men to be referred to, last time I checked there was only 1 shelter for men in all of the united states. So childless women, and women with older children are more likely than men to find a shelter.

Granted, those other shelters don’t have the ‘meathead movers’ to help them move.

Considering that they get referrals from a domestic violence shelter, that propability is low. Most shelters refuse to help men, or outright bar them entry.

You mean since it takes referrals from shelters, you can bet that the shelters are only going to refer female victims of DV/IPV.
