“state-sponsored execution is murder. Does that mean the government should be legally banned from paying for executions because it’s unfair to us to be forced against our will to fund what we believe to be murder?”

Yes the state should not execute people.

“I think factory farming is a moral abomination Should the

“I’m afraid that argument has long since gone by the wayside, given we have to pay for war and executions. And we pay a hell of a lot more for bombs than we do for women to get Pap smears.”

Okay but I also think you shouldn’t be forced against your will to fund that which you oppose. It’s not as though I am advocating

“My tax dollars have to go towards defense spending that I think is wasteful and harmful”
Yes, you should not be forced to fund things you don’t want to fund. Thats my entire point.

“so fuck you.”
Why are you so hostile, It’s not as though I want ONLY pro-lifers (of which I am not even one by the way) to have the right

Yes when you don’t have money to buy A&B, you may choose from A or B. Very clever of you to notice that.

Notice how then the fungible money was given and while that actual physical money was spent on A, it enabled the purchase of B. Wow.

Also are you really questioning if money is fungible? Money is like... the MOST

“No doctor who performs abortions would ever be able to accept any form of government health insurance.”

Okay. This just raises the question in my mind of why the government should even be involved in healthcare at all.

I don’t think you should be forced to pay for them. I also don’t think the pro life crowd should be forced to pay for abortion.

Really? the “love it or leave it” argument?

Well not everyone agrees that morality is subjective, or that it is relative. And this is besides the point. I was just saying that EVEN IF they are mistaken about the moral facts (which is the worst case for them) they shouldn’t be forced to pay for what they believe to be immoral.

As for ‘scientific point of when

How do you know that is what I am doing? What have I said to cause you to come to such a belief?

You shouldn’t be forced to pay for the war. Pro-lifers shouldn’t be forced to pay for abortion.

Why not both?

Why should people be coerced into paying for something they believe to be unethical? Even if they might be mistaken about the moral fact of the matter.

Assuming that pro-life people shouldn’t be forced against their will to fund what they believe to be murder...

How is the fungible not a good argument? If we imagine a college student with little cash, say $20. And they intend to spend that $20 on food. But their parent gives them two $10 bills and says “don’t spend

It’s not that we think society doesn’t benefit us. It’s that we think that society would be even greater if we removed the government, who can only steal and coerce.

Government does not produce anything, it merely steals money and moves it around, and pays people to do it. It’s a net drain on the economy.

Do you have any line of reasoning that suggests that taxation is not theft?

You assume I am ignorant because I hold ideas that are different to your own.

You see what you want to see. I don’t see how this is a dog whistle at all.

No, not everyone chips in. There are net tax payers, and net tax takers.

And it’s not even a class thing, there are poor people who “chip in” and there are rich people who leech.

Also how are my views ‘sociopathic’ in the least? If anything is sociopathic it’s the idea that some individuals should rule others, and

Yes because data is a planet. Very good point.

Yes but that also doesn’t work.

I am not entitled to free rood or rent assistance, this is evidenced by the fact that I pay income taxes. I make too much money to qualify for those programs.

( I don’t even make that much money, less than the average american)
