Spending is decreasing at least. People aren’t buying gas, going out to eat, going to bars, getting coffee, going to events, etc. I’m sure that doesn’t end up being a full 20% of people’s budgets, but it’s not as bad as 20% less during normal times.

I can’t wait for all the bosses to point to the low productivity during these mandatory WFH times as a reason to further restrict the ability to WFH during normal times.

Anything to get them higher up. One of the worst modern car design trends is the terrible placement of the rear blinkers like a foot and a half off the ground, making them effectively invisible in any nontrivial amount of traffic.

Yet Autopilot is still killing people and driving into stationary objects.
Self-driving is not driver assists, self-driving is full automation like Waymo is doing.
Autonomous vehicles are not currently well-equipped to make these sorts of context-based decisions, the sorts of decisions human drivers can make almost instantly.

Between games where you can permanently miss things, games where you can save in an impossible-to-win state, and buggy games that are more than happy to corrupt save files at will, you’re playing with fire if you don’t have a vast array of save files for any game you’re playing that’s over a few hours long. The combat system was fresh and very well executed, the story and characters had a great sense of desperation to them, and the music was fantastic and memorable. I liked the linearity - RPGs often get too focused on YOU CAN GO…
I picked up a copy from Amazon a couple weeks ago for $5. Haven’t started it yet, but I figured for that low it’ll at least be nice to take in the vistas.
That box is horrible. It’s like they were deliberately trying to make something that doesn’t fit in an entertainment center.
They are forced to do this. If they do not, they risk losing their trademark and becoming another Escalator, Aspirin, or Trampoline.
