JUSTICE FOR FRANK
JUSTICE FOR FRANK
Yes, car accident is conveniant timing but his death would be the only way it could’ve ended.
as long as it’s good. I tried watching that last Underworld movie with him. egad.
I concur. Plus, it’s prison, a world we all know that throughout time people’s gender preference tends to stop being a priority in exchange for human intimacy. John’s not stupid, he knows Jamie’s into women (he was mourning after a woman, his wife) and, to be fair, Jamie’s the only person in the vicinity that’s an…
Nooo! The books are not that crazy, at least not yet!
Donald wasn’t in this either.
I have and...nope. Gyro was sometimes impatient and exasperated in the comics, but never an outright jerk — his early appearances emphasised “loony” over “genius”, but he was still a nice guy who got along well with kids. This is a completely new reimagining of the character that actually resembles his recurrign…
not sure what you mean. oh she’s doing it only for the press? if so who cares, people are still getting help
This is the opposite of the original Gyro in every conceivable way. It’s not like he even looks the same, so it’s pretty much an original character with an established name.
God, no, her Scottish accent is worse than Skelton’s American one.
I am loving this season so far, the pace, the direction, the acting. Only 3 episodes in and so much has happened. Personally I loved this episode and cant imagine how difficult it must have been to bring it to life. I will miss Frank but bring on the Time Travel!!!!
Shut the fuck up.
I’m wasn’t a fan of her although I remember when she went to PR when we were hit by Hurricane Georges. Now after this, I love her and will never say anything bad about her.
That combined with the photo of Donald overseeing Huey’s first steps implies, to me, that Della disappeared very early on in the boys’ lives.
I know what you mean about Huey - it was kind of odd that they didn’t at least mention in passing what he was doing during this one. He seems to be the most timid/straitlaced of the kids, so I could see that meaning he gets the short end of the stick adventure-wise, which would be disappointing. Then again, it is…
I’d like Dewey more if I didn’t hear Rutabaga Rabbitowitz every time he opened his mouth. Sorry Dewey, not your fault.
“The fact that Dewey recognized Della in the painting implies that Della was around her kids long enough so that she could even be recognized. That in itself feels like a story worth learning about.”
I very much got the impression that Scrooge set up the whole thing to teach Louie a lesson. That final “doesn’t it feel good after you worked for it?” felt very winking.
Also, Dewey recognizes his mother because of the photo he shows Webby at the start of the episode.
I think they’re counting the pilot as two episodes. That would still make this episode 3 rather than 2, though...
