Oh, wow - the first year I get a question chosen is the same year they get Robert Webb! The man who voiced my namesake! This is delightful for me.

It didn’t make me cry but the chapter in David’s book about Victoria Coren was really unexpectedly moving.

How Not to Be a Boy is funny as expected but also incredibly heartbreaking. There was an excerpt printed in The Guardian when it first came out if anyone wants a sense of it:

Jesse Armstrong arguably cut his teeth creating Peep Show before he worked on The Thick of It.

I liked Kevin Conroy’s response:

Grown men yelling at little girls isn’t something I usually find hilarious but something about McGuirk always yelling at Melissa made me laugh every time.

It would be impossible to narrow down my favorite episodes of Home Movies to just 10. I would always be thinking, “But what about ‘Renaissance’ which had the King Arthur vs. Robin Hood songs?” Or what about the episodes with Mitch Hedberg because this show was what introduced me to him? Or ‘Camp’ which had They Might

For most of us, this is just sad and hilarious. But I cannot imagine the constant rage the families of the people who died because of this asshole must be feeling watching this every day.

Heathcliff, Heathcliff

Sky Masterson in the 1992 Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls!

It’s one of my favorite shows and I’m happy to see Alex Horne getting some attention over here. But I really can’t imagine it working without Greg Davies.

Hey - I still use a flip-phone! I don’t ever text anyone so I guess Day-Lewis is actually more technologically advanced than me...

It’s kind of funny because with the scaffolding and the tables, I felt like this staging was already cribbing a bit from Rent.

A lot of what I was going to say has already been said. Legend did better in some places than others but unfortunately one of the less better places was “Gethsemane.” The audience worked well in numbers like “Hosanna” but everyone who cheered in the middle of Judas’ death scene should be smacked. Alice Cooper’s King

I’ll be honest, when I first saw that the ghost question was picked, I was not expecting 2 out of 2 pretty firm “yes” answers.

I’m leaning towards the theory that they’re going to use it to launch their new online service.

When I saw it, I assumed it was a port. However, someone found this on Sakurai’s Twitter saying that he’s been working on something that is presumably Smash. That seems to point towards a new game.

Oh, come on Nintendo! I’m already completely sidetracked with Mario + Rabbids when I should be working on my own game. And all this isn’t going to help me focus...

Look, I watched The Penguins of Madagascar for Cumberbatch so I’m not going to pretend that I’m not going to eventually watch this. But I’m also not going to pretend I expect to be any good.

Has anyone calculated the superhero:minute ratio yet? I assume, given the existence of the Internet, someone must have by now.
