I had the weirdest dream last night that Charlie Brooker was standing on stage with an Emmy talking about love. It was surreal seeing him there but I also felt really proud. Somewhere in England, there’s a man who can now say he owns a trashcan made for his daughter by an Emmy winner.

I’m eagerly awaiting Robert Webb’s How Not to Be a Boy which should be arriving today. The excerpts I’ve read so far have been wonderful if heartbreaking. And having already read David Mitchell’s memoir, I’m curious to see things from the other perspective.
