BRITISH PANEL SHOWS:
Cabin Pressure is indeed delightful and definite proof that Cumberbatch can do comedy. However, the character he plays is far from smooth and although he tries really hard, he's really not authoritative.
I'd also throw in Hawking and Fortysomething as other examples. And even though it's just radio, Cabin Pressure.
My expectations going in were that Cumberbatch would be pretty game for anything they threw at him and that they wouldn't know what to with him. He can be good at comedy (Cabin Pressure, Starter for 10), just not comedy in which the entire point of the sketch seems to be "Wouldn't it be funny if Benedict Cumberbatch…
Stayed up tonight to see Cumberbatch on SNL and was reminded why I don't watch SNL anymore.
This has nothing to do with the shows. I just want to register my sadness that my income is so far below what is considered the lowest median income of television viewers.

I'm sure anyone in that position gets inured to being satirized. It's these sincere attempts to imagine what her life if really like in things like this, The Queen and even The King's Speech that I think would be even weirder.
Claire Foy has been wonderful in everything I've seen her in (starting with her performance as Spike in Going Postal) so it's probably worth a look just for her. It must be incredibly strange for Elizabeth II to see all of these on screen depictions of herself and her immediate family. But I imagine it's part of a…
It's at the top of the stairs to the left. We haven't see it yet but Mrs. Hudson specifically mentions it in the first episode.
They used to all be on YouTube. Not sure if they still are.
BRITISH PANEL SHOW NEWS:
They've announced the cast of the next season of Taskmaster and it's an interesting group they've got:
99% Invisible did a story about this that suggested it wasn't so much a matter of ghosts but architectural experimentation: http://99percentinvisible.o…

I assume that when people Google "meme" it's to find out what a particular meme means or came from. I'm trying to figure out what so many people Google "Jesus" are trying to find out.
Sure, money sounds good. But when I was kid, there were a couple of houses that just gave handfuls of pennies and that was not that fun. I don't see bags of potato chips on there even though those were clearly the best things to get.
