Didn't there use to be something that looked at how many followers you had and assigned you a number based on your supposed social media influence. It didn't take things as far as this, obviously but it was being used by employers.

My main complaint about the other Dirk Gently was that Stephen Mangan was not at all what I imagined him to look like. And neither is this guy. Am I misremembering the books?

I was hoping Cumberbatch would appear on Colbert to promote this but I forgot about the Disney thing. So I'll just do my usual complaining that not enough people are hiring him for comedy. Where's my on screen equivalent of Martin Crieff, dammit?!

I don't doubt that Stephen Fry can play an eccentric authority figure well. I'm almost tempted to check it out for that.

She played Martha Jones' sister on Doctor Who way back during the Tennant years.

I'm sure she'll do fine but she just seems so young. Of course, to me, it seems like just yesterday she and Freema Agyeman were being chased by a monster version of Mark Gatiss.

You could say that about every popular musical from the Rodgers and Hammerstein shows to Les Miz to Rent. And a lot of that was before the Internet.

I realize that teenaged me was more clueless about brands than the average person but I have difficulty conceiving of a generation that has a preferred brand of handbag and for over a third to be able to afford one from Michael Kors. Even Starbucks seems too expensive to

Nobody wants to watch Michael J. Fox traveling through time.

Speaking of Iannucci, he was on a recent episode of Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (RHLSTP!): https://www.youtube.com/wat…

The main issue with the move was that the show's production company jacked the price up above what they knew the BBC could afford and entered negotiations with other channels without telling the presenters and judges (all of whom were very vocal about wanting to stay on the BBC).

Last week Rachel was throwing away letters left and right for Victoria Coren so she could make it could happen.

I like Ayoade but that would be a terrible choice. I simply cannot imagine him comforting the bakers when things go wrong or just generally maintaining the warmth and support that made Mel and Sue so good as presenters. French and Saunders would be better but I'm pretty sure Saunders squelched those rumors a while

‘What if Anonymous was one guy? What characteristics would he have?’
He’d have to be socially aware, a coder, have access, be compassionate.”

Not much to say but I've been reviewing Charlie Brooker's on screen work and decided to post clips of him on any articles about Black Mirror. Here's one from You Have Been Watching featuring Mr. Fuggles: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
