No, but I'm pretty sure I still have my Barbie and the Rockers flexidisc.

It warms my heart that Armando Iannucci projects are now getting regular coverage in the US.

This barely scratches the surface of that Twitter meltdown. It doesn't mention the racist comments about his mother and the buckets of homophobia. I barely know who this person is and I was riveted.

Not this year's. I had heard they'll be on PBS this fall but the Great Performances preview site (http://www.pbs.org/wnet/gpe… says Spring/Summer. The first Hollow Crown series is on DVD. Not sure about streaming.

The Hollow Crown came back on Saturday with Henry VI, Part One (which is going to be confusing since they took the three plays and condensed them into two). More than the previous Hollow Crown, the first episodes feel very much like a prelude to the last - Richard III with Cumberbatch in the lead.

I've been looking forward to this. The premise is slightly insane but it's gotten really good reviews. (It also has Olivia Colman and Ben Whishaw so it was going to be a must see anyway.)

I've always wondered what would have happened if Granny Weatherwax ever faced off against Sam Vimes. I always hoped we'd at least see a cameo of one in another's book. (Although I'm sure they would have found common ground fairly quickly and I'd give Esme the overall edge.)

Still on Bravely Second. Finished Chapter 4 and when I started Chapter 5 I guess I wasn't really paying attention because I didn't do the thing I needed to do to move on in the story. So I played about 15 minutes before I decided to go online and figure out what I did wrong. But then I did it and now I've gone

And in the UK, the second season of The Hollow Crown starts tomorrow. I've been looking forward to this one for a while. The little I've seen of Cumberbatch's Richard III looks and sounds great. But mostly, particularly in the first two parts, I can't wait to see Sophie Okonedo as Queen Margaret.

I saw a headline somewhere else where Allen said he was a fan of Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus. I assume it's from the same interview.

Apparently "shattered the record" now means "got one more than the previous record." As I mentioned in another thread, I think the only guaranteed wins are for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Supporting Actor (I'm going with Daveed Diggs for that one). Best Actor is going to be close and I have a feeling people

No Audra which was surprising. Not surprised that Hamilton had so many nominations but I'd also say there are only a few where it's a lock - Best Musical, Best Score and Best Supporting Actor. I think The Producers will still hold on to it's record for wins.

I don't think we'll see a lot of major changes. The only big difference we've seen so far is the addition of the cold open. The more I hear of how much Stephen had to do backstage it's perfectly correct that they hired someone to take care of some of the logistics for him.

I think it would have been difficult for him to continue to play a parody of crazy right winger once Donald Trump started winning primaries. But then I've always enjoyed Stephen Colbert the person more than "Stephen Colbert" the character.

He's also a Ninja Turtle now.

I'm one of those who think that all you really need to understand Shakespeare is to see a good performance. And this is really good time for people looking for good performances. The Globe and the Royal Shakespeare Company are regularly releasing DVDs of their productions. PBS still has the full length version of

Well, in that case, when are we getting a second series of Nathan Barley?

Yes, that's nice - but when is Charlie going to starting making You Have Been Watching again?

Bringing together the Birthright and Conquest characters was my favorite part of Revelations. I'm very pleased with the Shiro that came out of the Ryoma and Camila pairing. I did end up having to spend a few hours pre-planning my marriages. And it makes pairing up the kids without resorting to incest a bit
