I own four video versions of this musical and this is my least favorite. I'm still annoyed they cut out the Beggar Woman's first appearance.

Speaking of The Thick of It, to the delight of Chris Addison and the bafflement of Armando Iannucci, the cast will be on the cover of the next issue of Spider-Man: https://twitter.com/mrchris…

She should probably find some talk show to appear on so she can promote this.

Speak of the Jeb! interview, do we know what the contest winner's question was?

I see where you're coming from although I think the perception of Colbert's influence carries a lot weight. If he were in a direct election against Fallon, he would have to be more strategic but just being perceived as an important person in television will help keep his position safe.

I'm seeing a lot of worrying that other people aren't interested in seeing this sort of thing on a late night talk show. But, in terms of people who watched it and are reacting to what they watched, I'm seeing an overwhelming positive response. So I think there are a lot more people who want to see something of

Agreed, I like Biden as a person and really liked this interview. But I don't want him to be president. In fact, I'm really hoping he came away from this with the confirmation that, on a personal and emotional level, he's just not ready.

I already commented on this in the WOT thread but I wanted to add that it looks like, as much as he's taken over Letterman's show, he's also taking over Jon Stewart's role as the daily presence that people will look to for emotional honesty when things happen.

I thought it was a great interview and really shows what Colbert can do when he has someone on who has something to say. For all the talk yesterday about Fallon throwing down the gauntlet with the lip sync stuff, I feel like this really shows why he'll always be outclassed. Colbert can easily do silly things with

I don't think it's anything in particular that he did. It's mainly that his success is so disproportionate to his talent. He seems like a nice guy but his comedy and his show are nothing special. That's obviously going to bug people.

Why don't they just do what I do and beat up wild animals, stuff them into small containers and force them to fight each other? It's not healthy to just stare at your phone all day. Engage in actual world around you!

I am a magical baby seal who gives terrible texting advice. My name is misspelled because I couldn't remember whether there were two p's or two d's. Here's a link to the relevant Mitchell and Webb sketch: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Nope, it's because Colbert loves to perform. I can 100% guarantee he's going to do it again.

I just finished The Shepherd's Crown. I meant to make it last a little longer but ended up finishing it in a few sittings. And then I had a little cry.

But he did that with 90% of his musical guests on TCR. It would have been weirder if he didn't.

Rob's Pinky voice is one of my all-time favorite cartoon voices. Just hearing it makes me smile. Finding out that he also did the voice of Yakko was another one of those "Wow, voice actors are amazing!" moments from my childhood.

I was so proud of him and he looked so happy. Like a lot of others, I was happy to see the weirdness come in so early. I love that's already started to build his own strange little Colbert-y world and is inviting people in. And I'm not particularly concerned about the naysayers who are drawing on nine years of

Tonight also has an interesting episode of Would I Lie to You? in which David Mitchell's teammates are Trevor Noah and Richard Hammond. Sadly, it was recorded before the former got his new job and the latter left his old job. But it will still be worth a look (as are all WILTY episodes, to be honest.)

This isn't really an example of They Might Be Giants' work. It's just Linnell goofing off for a podcast they used to do.

This seems far too well put together for a Great Job, Internet. I'm assuming this was miscategorized.
