Have you ever listened to the commentary for this episode? Apparently Lawrence Tierney was absolutely nuts.

One of the great joys of the last decade or so has been watching NewsRadio get the recognition it deserves. That said, I usually watch the episode where they're all trying to leave work early during my Christmas episode re-watch. The Bill McNeal subplot of this one is still very difficult to watch.

It's not bad but I heard Breathed isn't fond of it. It also has a couple of random cameos from Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman.

Another heads up for Bugle listeners - Andy Zaltzman was on Richard Herring Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (or as the cool kids are calling it, Rehalestipa!) They've been putting them up on YouTube as well but I don't know the timeframe.

Bugle listeners.

Even if my Internet connection was robust enough to stream something longer than 5 minutes without pausing, I still prefer the reliability of something physical that I own. (I'm also someone who prefers vinyl so I'm obviously overall part of the problem here.)

Warrington?

Well that's interesting. Apparently when I start reading something in Emo Philips' voice, I can't stop reading everything in Emo Philips' voice.

Ah yes, I see what you did there.

The whole article comes from The Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail.

Sadly, he'll probably be back to filming Richard III by then.

And now I have "Farewell, Amanda" stuck in my head.

Was just coming to here mention how good Judy Holliday is. But you beat me to it.

In my fantasy world, they bring Olivia Colman over and do an updated version of the couple she and Martin Freeman played in Bruiser.

That is definitely the cutest response to a teenager's murder I've seen a while.

Is this Laurie's first time working with Iannucci? It seems like it shouldn't be but I can't think of another one right now.

I'm really enjoying playing Theatrhythm but damn if it didn't plant a ton of earworms back into my head.

Does it have Cloud being seduced by Don Corneo while dressed in drag?

That's fine. I find Adler pretty tedious in all version, especially the original Doyle version. I was just rolling my eyes a bit at the description.
